BOARD OF ADVISORS To capitalize on the quality and depth of business leadership in Edmond, the Chamber has launched the Board of Advisors Program to provide an additional and continued source of leadership and financial resources. The CEO or designated representative of all firms whose annual dues investment totals $2,000 is designated a member of the Board of Advisors.

BOARD MEETINGS The Chamber’s Board of Directors meetings are forums where select volunteers and staff members meet to discuss the issues that effect Chamber membership and the community. The Board of Directors control the property of the Chamber and are responsible for the Chamber’s finances, the government and policy making for the Chamber, and have full power and authority over the affairs of the Chamber except those specifically reserved for the general membership by the bylaws. CEO ROUNDTABLE Chamber CEO Roundtables are a great opportunity to share problems with people who have other experiences and perspectives. Everyone gets a chance to get other opinions on how to handle situations in a private, non-threatening setting. Meetings for participants are held in a confidential environment. These have been very useful in learning new ideas and getting a second and unbiased opinion. Participation in this program is determined by a selection committee. ? LEADERSHIP EDMOND Leadership Edmond is a leadership development program designed to provide community leaders with a deeper understanding of the critical issues affecting the Edmond area. This program also provides an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the Edmond area. The program begins with a two day/overnight retreat which focuses on community leadership skills. The remaining day long sessions meet once a month and each focus on a specific community topic such as city government, education, heath/wellness, state government, culture/recreation and transportation. There is a graduation in the Spring. Class size is limited to 35 individuals. Class members are selected to represent a broad range of occupations and backgrounds. Participants receive in-depth exposure to the critical issues facing the community through lectures, discussion groups, on-site visits, simulations and other leadership development activities. Participants also get a chance to meet key community leaders. The program enables participants to develop their leadership capacities, build strong relationships and prepare themselves for the challenges of years to come. YOUTH LEADERSHIP EDMOND The Youth Leadership Edmond program was created by the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce to motivate and equip High School Juniors with leadership skills through activities and interaction with community leaders: YLE is presented by the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce and supported by local businesses interested in the future of our youth.
