LEADERSHIP EDMOND
Leadership Edmond is a leadership development program designed to provide community leaders with a deeper understanding of the critical issues affecting the Edmond area. This program also provides an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the Edmond area. The program begins with a two day/overnight retreat which focuses on community leadership skills. The remaining day long sessions meet once a month and each focus on a specific community topic such as city government, education, heath/wellness, state government, culture/recreation and transportation. There is a graduation in the Spring. Class size is limited to 35 individuals. Class members are selected to represent a broad range of occupations and backgrounds. Participants receive in-depth exposure to the critical issues facing the community through lectures, discussion groups, on-site visits, simulations and other leadership development activities. Participants also get a chance to meet key community leaders. The program enables participants to develop their leadership capacities, build strong relationships and prepare themselves for the challenges of years to come. Each session has specific goals and objectives for that day. These goals and objectives are non-negotiable, and sponsors are not able to modify or tailor the agendas. |

MILITARY AFFAIRS COUNCIL
The Edmond Area Chamber has a proud partnership with the 3d Combat Communications Group (3d Herd). Sponsorships are used to supplement the Tinker Quarterly Award’s bags, offer opportunities for the Herd to participate in Chamber events such as the Golf Tournament, Annual Auction and Sporting Clays and to provide special donations and gifts to Herd events. Each quarter, Tinker Air Force Base honors those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. The Edmond Area Chamber honors the award winners of the 3d Herd with prize bags valued at $350-$450. YLE sessions are held six days (one per month November through April) out of school with full credit, concluding with an evening graduation in April. SEMI ANNUAL NEWSLETTER
The Edmond Chamber’s quarterly printed newsletter will be 12 pages, full color, and glossy TWO times a year. Each newsletter is directly mailed to more than 1,100 Chamber members. Eighty percent of our members are small businesses in the Edmond metro area. All ads MUST be emailed to the Chamber in PDF form by the deadline or it will not be printed. No exceptions. There are no refunds for late ads. The Chamber reserves the right to place ads were they see fit. Ads will be used in place of newsletter inserts.
