LEADERSHIP EDMOND Leadership Edmond is a leadership development program designed to provide community leaders with a deeper understanding of the critical issues affecting the Edmond area. This program also provides an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the Edmond area. The program begins with a two day/overnight retreat which focuses on community leadership skills. The remaining day long sessions meet once a month and each focus on a specific community topic such as city government, education, heath/wellness, state government, culture/recreation and transportation. There is a graduation in the Spring. Class size is limited to 35 individuals. Class members are selected to represent a broad range of occupations and backgrounds. Participants receive in-depth exposure to the critical issues facing the community through lectures, discussion groups, on-site visits, simulations and other leadership development activities. Participants also get a chance to meet key community leaders. The program enables participants to develop their leadership capacities, build strong relationships and prepare themselves for the challenges of years to come. Each session has specific goals and objectives for that day. These goals and objectives are non-negotiable, and sponsors are not able to modify or tailor the agendas.

LUNCH & LEARN Lunch and Learn is an educational program to help local small businesses prosper. Lunch & Learn is a free program hosted by the Chamber. The goal is to provide a free opportunity for business owners to share and discuss issues they face with their businesses. "Panelists" are brought in by the committee to share their knowledge on specified topic per event. MILITARY AFFAIRS COUNCIL The Edmond Area Chamber has a proud partnership with the 3d Combat Communications Group (3d Herd). Sponsorships are used to supplement the Tinker Quarterly Award’s bags, offer opportunities for the Herd to participate in Chamber events such as the Golf Tournament, Annual Auction and Sporting Clays and to provide special donations and gifts to Herd events. YOUTH LEADERSHIP EDMOND The Youth Leadership Edmond program was created by the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce to motivate and equip High School Juniors with leadership skills through activities and interaction with community leaders: YLE is presented by the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce and supported by local businesses interested in the future of our youth.
